Library Catalogue Plus will be unavailable from 08:00 until 12:00 on Monday 15th December while some important maintenance takes place.
You will not be able to search for books on Library Catalogue Plus while the system is down. However, there are a couple of other ways you can get help finding specific items:
- If the item is on the reading list for your module, you can find location and availability information by clicking on the entry for the book on the reading list. If the item is an eBook, you can access it directly from your reading list. Reading lists can be accessed via Learn or by searching on the Reading List System for the module code or module title.
- The Service Desk in the Pilkington Library will be open from 09:00. Speak to staff or email libary@lboro.ac.uk for help locating specific items.
- If you are looking for an eBook, you can search directly on our main eBook platforms, VLEBooks and EBook Central, which can be accessed from the Databases page on the Library website.
Our self-service kiosks will not be affected so you will be able to borrow and return items as normal.
It is likely that Articles Plus will also be unavailable throughout the morning. However, you will be able to search individual databases from our All Databases page. Recommended databases for each subject can be found on our Subject Guides, and you are welcome to contact your Academic Librarian if you need assistance.
