How to pay
There are a number of ways to settle bills and outstanding accounts.
The preferred method is via the online self-service payment facility, where you may choose to pay using either a debit or credit card.
Online payment is encouraged as you have assurance that all information is held in a safe and secure environment which is fully PCI DSS compliant. You will just need to have your card details to hand together with your name, date of birth and Student ID number. A link to the portal is:
Payment for tuition and accommodation can also be paid by direct debit in instalments – the link to download a copy of the Direct Debit Financial Options Payment Form can be found at the bottom of the page. A schedule of payments will be returned no later than ten working days prior to the first collection date providing the completed form is received by 19th October 2018. Please note that only original hard copies of the form can be accepted. Photocopies or emails will not be acted on. The original signed mandate should be sent to the Finance Shared Services office in the Rutland Building.
Unfortunately, in certain situations, there may be a £25 charge for each failed direct debit, so please ensure sufficient funds are available in the access account.
There is no additional charge for paying by direct debit and a hard copy form is also available by contacting the Finance Shared Services department in the Rutland building.
Charges and billings for items such as course materials, registration fees, field trips, fines, etc. cannot be paid by direct debit but the online facility is the easiest route to pay (see link above).
Payment can also be made by bank transfer, cheque, banker’s draft (drawn in sterling on a UK bank account), debit or credit card. If you wish to pay in person you may do so by visiting the Student Finance Reception desk at the front of the Rutland building or you can pay by credit or debit card over the telephone by calling 01509 223538.
