EPSRC Innovation Placements

Loughborough University Doctoral College have identified partners willing to host EPSRC-funded doctoral students for an ‘Innovation Placement’.

What is an ‘EPSRC Innovation Placement’?
An opportunity for Loughborough University EPSRC funded PhD students to gain innovation experience outside of their immediate PhD research project and team.

We have a range of exciting placements available, including with Unilever (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) in Liverpool, Nemaura (Medical Devices and Pharma) in Loughborough and DNV GL (Oil and Gas business) in Loughborough.
The placement duration may be flexible up to 3 months, subject to agreement by the host. The funding for these placements in the 2019/20 academic year has ended.  

To be eligible for this scheme, you must be in receipt of an EPSRC funded studentship, or be a Loughborough-funded student incorporated into one of the EPSRC CDTs.  If you are unsure of your eligibility please contact Rebecca Ginger or Jill Thurman.
