University Chaplaincy invites staff to meditation sessions, just for staff, delivered by friend of Chaplaincy, Natalie Steel.

This workshop provides a practical understanding of the relationship between the being and matter. The workshop aims to facilitate your inward journey in an efficient and effective way.

Learn about:

  • consciousness and self-realisation
  • the Law of Action and Reaction

Explore how to:

  • make time & space for meditation to establish a daily practice
  • harness your thoughts, emotions and responses
  • use your meditation skills in everyday life

There are 4 scheduled dates, you're welcome to book onto more than one session or add at a later date:

There are 18 spaces available for this meditation session. The session will follow a learn-practical application structure; 15 mins learning about how meditation can be used to develop wellbeing and 15-20mins meditation practice. 

About the facilitator:

Natalie Steel has had a varied career in banking, television and social services working with people with learning disabilities. For the last 15 years she has coordinated activities for the Brahma Kumaris in Loughborough and the Midlands, facilitating wellbeing seminars and workshops at the University and in the community.
