Know your Neighbour
Inter Faith Week is an annual initiative, held this year 9 - 16 November, that aims to strengthen interfaith relations across the UK. The week seeks to raise awareness of the diverse contributions of faith communities and promote understanding among people of different religious and non-religious beliefs.
Loughborough University includes staff and students from many different faiths. During Inter Faith Week, University Chaplaincy invite staff and students to step outside their comfort zones in order to encounter and learn more about the rich diversity in our community.
During the week, storyboards from different faith and non-faith perspectives will be on display in the EHB atrium showcasing some of the vibrant faith communities on campus.
On Wednesday 12 November 12.00-14.00pm, EHB Atrium, there will be an opportunity to engage with Chaplains and students from some of our faith societies through conversation, by exploring artifacts, and engaging in activities that help to build understanding of religious beliefs or practices.
Come and get to know your LU neighbour better, and hear what it means for individuals to be people of faith in their daily lives.
