Booking Appointments

Please note that we are currently operating a remote working service.

IT

Staff will be answering calls on the usual numbers, responding to emails, and making appointments with our Service Advisers who will be conducting appointments remotely, by email, telephone or Microsoft Teams (face-to-face).

You can request how you would like your appointment to be conducted when booking.

How do I book a Wellbeing appointment?

To request an appointment with our Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Team, please complete the Wellbeing Appointment Referral Form.

What is Video Call Therapy?

Video call therapy follows the same principles as face-to-face therapy. Instead of a weekly appointment in a therapy room, a weekly meeting takes place via Microsoft Teams between the therapist and the client.

Video call therapy may be able to help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression and many more.

How to use Microsoft Teams

  1. You will receive an email notification from an Adviser with the scheduled date and time of your appointment.
  2. In the email invite, a 'Join Microsofts Team Link' should appear which you can click to join the appointment.
  3. You will be given the option of opening the link with the Microsoft Teams app or a web browser. Please ensure that you always use a web browser, do not download the Microsoft Teams desktop appWe would recommend you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  4. Once you have clicked the link, you’ll be taken through to the video call screen. Here you can set up whether your camera is turned on or off and whether your microphone is muted.
