I completed a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Exeter and pursued an MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology here at Loughborough University. It was here I did several placements within the NHS working alongside patients suffering from Cardiovascular diseases, Pulmonary conditions, Osteoarthritis or Cancer.
Working alongside MDTs I experienced the use of physical activity as a means of Prehabilitation, Management and Rehabilitation of non-communicable diseases. I then took a year out to work in industry within clinical rehabilitation and have returned to pursue a PhD at Loughborough University looking at the integration of physical activity into the NHS cancer care pathway.
