Originally from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, I am an interdisciplinary researcher and doctoral student focused on body image perception, physical culture, and women's wellbeing. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at McGill University in Montreal, subsequently moving to London to pursue my Masters of Arts in Cultural Management at King's College London. During my time at King's, I was honoured with the Associateship of King's College London and Global Leadership Award.
I am currently pursing my PhD in Sport, Exercise, and Health sciences, with an emphasis on health and wellbeing. My research explores the influence of fitness facilitated real life socialised body exposure on body image perception for women going through menopause.
Complementing my academic background, I am a certified personal trainer, strength coach, and nutrition specialist working at JB Fitness UK based in Highbury, London. Additionally, I am interested in fashion, as an agency represented fitness and runway model in London.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy taking part in fitness events such as triathlons, distance running, and weightlifting, as well as travelling with my family and friends!
