Mengying joined Loughborough University as a former MSc student in Sport Management. She graduated from Zhengzhou University with a BA in Applied Linguistics and a BS in Business Administration. She was awarded a scholarship to study at California State University, Long Beach (2017) and University of California, Riverside (2019) as an exchange student.

Research

Her master’s dissertation is Sport Policy Development in China: The Role of Legacy in the Successful Bid for the Beijing Winter Olympics. She focuses on Olympic Legacy Analysis: Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games for her PhD study.

She has been the Athena SWAN Student Extra-Mile Award winner: Student of the Year.
