James graduated from the University of Chichester with a First-Class BA Honours degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching (2019). His undergraduate research focused on a gender comparison of physical education teachers attitudes towards inclusive physical education. James then continued his postgraduate study at Loughborough University and obtained his master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology (2020). Following this, James was awarded a Doctoral Fee Scholarship and Subwardenship to study for a PhD at Loughborough University under the supervision of Dr David Maidment and Dr Daniel Rhind. Whilst studying, James also helps encourage regular physical activity in older adults living with disabilities in his role as a care assistant with Careers at Home Ltd., Surrey.
