Ed completed his undergraduate degree in sport and exercise science at the University of Derby in 2021. Subsequently, he went on to complete his master’s at Loughborough University in strength and conditioning. His master’s project investigated the relationship between muscular peak power and rate of force development.

Research title: Whey protein and milk derivates for enhancing muscle performance of middle-aged and older exercisers/athletes
The aim of the research project is to investigate the effectiveness of milk fat globule membrane and related supplements in mitigating the age-related declines in neuromuscular function.
