Daniel graduated with his BSc in Sport and Exercise Science with first-class honours from Loughborough University in 2020. He then completed his MSc in Exercise Physiology in 2021, also at Loughborough University. Daniel is now undertaking a PhD to further his knowledge in the psychophysiology of para-sport, particularly para-football.

Research

Research Title: Examining the effects of psychological stress on transitions, recovery, performance and well-being in elite UK para footballers

During his PhD, Daniel will take an interdisciplinary approach involving both psychology and physiology to try and understand some of the psychophysiological responses to stress that elite para footballers experience at various points in their careers.
