Blaise holds an MSci in Sport, Exercise and Sport Sciences from the University of Birmingham, gaining extra experience through a year abroad in Vancouver, Canada. Blaise's research during her MSci focussed on exploring various facets of mental health in athletes, including intrusive imagery and REDs.
Blaise is now undertaking a PhD at Loughborough University in Sport Psychology, exploring Orthorexia Nervosa in athletes. Her PhD will be undertaken under the primary supervision of Dr Carolyn Plateau and the secondary supervision of Dr Hannah White.
Her research will focus on exploring Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) in athletes. The main aims are to explore the manifestation of ON in athletes and to investigate various risk factors within this population.
