I have grown up in the Derbyshire countryside my whole life, playing many different sports and living with horses and animals. I went to Loughborough for my undergrad in sport and exercise science and my masters in psychology of rehabilitation of sport where I researched how community support, access to sport and social connection in the Matt Hampsons Foundations “Get Busy Living Centre” assisted individuals mental and physical wellbeing.

I am now doing a PhD looking into how access to sport and community spaces can help underserved areas of the East Midlands, specifically the Mowmacre sport and education campus in Leicestershire.

I also live and work on a farm in south Derbyshire with sheep and cattle, producing our own food. I have two horses who I showjump and used to compete in mounted games. In any spare time I get alongside this I play netball and tennis competitively and love to play any other sports I have time to give a go.
