Ola graduated with a master’s degree in Psychology with specialisations in cognitive-behavioural therapy and psychology of sports from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw (Poland). In 2016 she completed her PhD titled “The Interplay between Coach Transformational Leadership and Coach-Athlete Relationship in Supporting Athletes’ Positive Psychological Outcomes” at Loughborough University which was supervised by Professor Sophia Jowett.

Ola has held lecturing positions in Sport Psychology and Psychology at Buckinghamshire New University and Newman University respectively. She was responsible for the development and delivery of modules in the areas of psychology (social and developmental), sport psychology, psychology of coaching, and research methods.

Ola’s main research interests are within the field of social psychology in sport (i.e., coach-athlete relationship, group dynamics, and leadership). In addition, Ola’s research has explored performance psychology in performing arts and positive youth development.

Ola is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
