Student Extra Mile Award Winners 2023

Students in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences (SSEHS) have nominated their outstanding peers for a range of Athena SWAN Student Extra Mile Awards and the 2023 winners were revealed at a presentation ceremony on 11 May.

SSEHS has always recognised and valued students and staff as its greatest assets. The Athena SWAN Student Extra Mile Awards, launched in 2020, are held annually and recognise students who have given extra to the School in a variety of categories. The awards are open to all students across SSEHS – with students recognised for their excellence in a variety of separate undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate taught (PGT) categories.

The awards are a collaborative venture between the SSEHS Student-Staff Liaison Committee Chair (Dr Keith Tolfrey), School reps and course reps, whom we thank for their commitment and contributions toward the awards.
