Exposing Lance Armstrong as a drugs cheat – Sunday Times writer to share his story

Sunday Times journalist David Walsh will be on campus sharing the story of how he exposed the Tour de France champion as a drugs cheat. The free event, which starts at 5pm on March 21, is open to staff and students.

Walsh, chief sports writer for The Sunday Times and three-time UK winner of sportswriter of the year, was the key player in the investigation that uncovered the sophisticated and professionalised doping used by Armstrong.

He will be sharing his story at the University on Thursday March 21 at Martin Hall Theatre. The free event, which starts at 5pm, is open to staff and students and includes a welcome drink.
