Yangfan completed her PhD with the ARAMP group in 2024. Her thesis was titled "Applications of Artificial Intelligence methods in improving portable gamma camera performance for nuclear medicine". Her research applied machine learning techniques to portable nuclear medicine with the goal of automating feature registration in stereo gamma images. Since then, she has been at the University of Oxford, contributing to new techniques in Large Language Models.
