Craft your own Pinch – Pot!

LU Arts Clay Workshop

Come join us and let your imagination take shape - no experience needed, just your curiosity and a willingness to explore!

In this clay workshop, you’ll get the chance to craft your very own pinch pot using air-dry clay. Perfect for beginners and open to all skill levels, this creative session invites you to experience the soothing, tactile magic of clay. It’s a wonderful way to relax, get creative, and connect with fellow students in a fun, welcoming environment.

Speaking Club Tuesdays

Speaking Club

Every Tuesday over the summer period the International Student Experience Team will run a Speaking Club.

Come along, practise your English speaking and listening skills with a chance to catch up with friends and meet new ones too. No need to book, ask any questions that you might have about life in the UK or just pop by for a general chit-chat and each week we will have a new topic to discuss!

Join us at Royce Common Room where you can expect a free lunch, board games and the opportunity to catch up with friends or make new ones!

Trip to Liverpool

Pick up 7:30am Wolfson School (University), or pick up 7:45am from Amber Rooms (Town Centre), return to Loughborough approx. 7pm

Liverpool, a vibrant city with a rich maritime past and world-famous musical legacy. Home of The Beatles and a UNESCO World Heritage waterfront, this dynamic city is bursting with culture, creativity, and character.

Spend the day exploring the historic Albert Dock, visit The Beatles Story, or take in the views from the Royal Liver Building. Don’t miss the chance to check out world-class museums, lively shopping streets, and the city’s buzzing food scene
Transport is provided but you will be free to explore Liverpool at your own leisure.
