Awarded by the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, the recognition places Professor Faghy among a select group of distinguished Fellows and acknowledges his commitment to advancing research education, and professional practice.
The Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) is the professional body for sport and exercise sciences in the UK. It aims to drive excellence through the promotion of evidence-based practice and the development and enhancement of professional and ethical standards. The CASES Fellowship is regarded as a prestigious accolade, recognising those who have demonstrated excellence and impact throughout their careers. Fellows are expected to act as leaders and ambassadors for the Association, helping to support the continued development of sport and exercise sciences and championing the profession.
The award highlights underlines the expertise within the University’s academic community and reinforces Loughborough’s reputation as a leader in sport, exercise, and health-related research and innovation.
