Vice-Chancellor discusses AI’s impact on higher education in new podcast

Loughborough University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nick Jennings, has recorded a podcast with HEDx, Australia’s leading higher education platform, exploring the potential of technology and partnerships to create opportunities for global universities.

In the episode, released this week, Professor Jennings joins Andrea Burrows, UK Managing Director of Online Education Services, and HEDx podcast host Martin Betts for a discussion on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education.

The conversation explores the potential impact of AI on universities and how embracing these opportunities and working in partnership can have a positive impact on staff, students, research, and education.

The podcast also touches on some of the challenges currently facing UK higher education and highlights how leaders must navigate these market difficulties while also making the most of new opportunities as they arise.

HEDx is a fortnightly podcast published in partnership with Campus Review. Through the podcast, HEDx brings together the views of sector leaders, innovators, customers, partners and commentators on the changing landscape of the higher education sector.

Each episode features an academic, professional or industry leader and reaches a global audience of university leaders, staff, students, partners and others.
