Don’t miss National Theatre Live: Dear England at Cope Auditorium

The spectacular new play ‘Dear England’ is showing at Cope Auditorium on 25 January, 7pm.

Filmed live on stage at the National Theatre, ‘Dear England’ is a new play by James Graham (Sherwood), directed by Rupert Goold (Judy) and currently delighting audiences in London.

From the pitch to the stage, Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale) stars as Gareth Southgate in this gripping examination of nation and game.

The country that gave the world football has since delivered a painful pattern of loss. Why can’t England’s men win at their own game? With the worst track record for penalties in the world, Gareth Southgate knows he needs to open his mind and face up to the years of hurt, to take his team and country back to the promised land.

Tickets are £10 and £5 for Loughborough University students. You can book your tickets in advance online or card payments can be taken on the door (subject to availability).
