Loughborough shortlisted for six categories including prestigious University of the Year accolade for the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023

Loughborough University is delighted to announce today that it has been shortlisted for six categories for this year’s WhatUni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs).

The annual awards celebrate the incredible work carried out by higher education institutions across the UK and is the leading higher education awards ceremony based solely on student choice.

One of the shortlisted categories this year includes the coveted University of the Year award, which Loughborough has previously won in 2015, 2018 and 2020. The University was also crowned the winner of the Facilities category at last year's awards.

Thanks to reviews provided by Loughborough students, the University has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • University of the Year
  • Career Prospects
  • Students’ Union
  • Halls and Student Accommodation
  • Facilities
  • Student Life

The WUSCAs are the only annual awards that are based solely on the views of real students studying in the UK. The Whatuni team verify around 35,000 reviews every year, that have been submitted by students either during on-campus visits or through the Whatuni website.

The reviews give prospective students access to honest, unbiased information when making decisions about what and where they would like to study.

The winners will be announced on 26 April 2023 at a ceremony in London. A full list of the shortlisted institutions for each category of the awards can be viewed online
