The QS Stars Rating System analyses and rates institutions based on their performance in at least eight categories, designed to cover the areas most important to students. These include teaching, employability, research, internationalisation, inclusiveness and facilities.
Loughborough was awarded Five Stars in all of the categories.
QS Stars Spokesperson Will Barbieri said: “Using QS Stars, prospective students can compare universities and make decisions based on independent and meticulous performance data. This gives a high degree of confidence in what can seem like a nebulous decision-making process and offers comfort in the fact that a university has access to tools that can further enhance their learning experience."
The most recent round of assessment sees 57 universities rated across 26 locations.
