Complete University Guide 2024: Loughborough ranked seventh in the UK and top university in the Midlands

Loughborough has been ranked seventh out of 130 universities – securing a place in the top ten for the eighth year running – in the Complete University Guide 2024, published today (Wednesday 7 June 2023).

It also remains the highest ranked university in the Midlands, underlining its position as one of the best universities in the country. 

‌The league table is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects – outcomes, Graduate Prospects – on track, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, and Continuation. 

Speaking about the 2024 guide Professor Nick Jennings, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, said: “I am delighted to see that Loughborough continues to be recognised as one of the very best universities in the UK.
