Happy Mondays presents Comedy Club as part of Leicester Comedy Festival

On Monday 7 February, LU Arts will be hosting a Comedy Club as part of this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.

Taking place in the Basement at Loughborough Students’ Union, the event will feature three stand-up comedians seeking to entertain staff, students and the general public.

Hosted by Midlands-based comedian Jon Pearson, guests can look forward to an evening of laughter and jokes with the following acts:

  • Sam Serrano – a regular name in clubs across the UK, Sam is a gender-fluid and dyspraxic comedian who has been described as ‘laugh out loud funny’ (Yorkshire Post)

  • Lauren Pattison – Lauren has previously supported the likes of Jason Manford and Katherine Ryan, with regular television appearances on shows such as Roast Battle, Takeshi’s Castle and Stand Up for Live Comedy. She is also the host of the podcast ‘Conversations Against Living Miserably’ which has been described as ‘funny, kind and thought-provoking’ by the Guardian.

The show will commence at 7.30pm (doors open from 7.10pm) and run until approximately 8.30pm. Tickets are free for Loughborough University students and £5 to staff and the general public. Please note this event is suitable for those aged 16+.
