LU Arts new website layout

LU Arts launch new website

LU Arts have relaunched their website with a fresh new look, aimed at making it easier to get involved in the creative activities on campus.

Last year they developed a more student-focused programme and the website aims to showcase the opportunities now available to students, including the expansion of scholarships, the availability of student arts grants and the creative skills share programme. The new website is also more closely aligned to the look and feel of LU Arts printed and digital assets, which were refreshed last year.

As well making the site easy to navigate there is an option to view information by art form so that people with interests in a particular area such as music or visual arts can find everything which might be of interest to them in one part of the site. These art form landing pages are accessed from the homepage.

The site also gives people the ability to explore in detail the many and varied opportunities  LU Arts has to offer as well as showcasing some of the students, societies and groups that they work with.  Although students are the primary audience for LU Arts’ programme, staff can attend many of the events on offer and can get involved in creative evening classes, the University Choir, Book Club and more.

Director of LU Arts, Nick Slater said: “We are delighted to launch our new website, which we hope will increase our engagement with students and increase awareness of the many events and activities we deliver across the year.”

The ‘Get Involved’ page is the perfect place to start on the site and be sure to check out the ‘What’s On’ section to keep up to date with all the events taking place.

LU Arts is keen to gather feedback on the new site from users and to continue to improve the user experience. If you have any comments please email them to luarts@lboro.ac.uk.

There is also an opportunity for students to get more involved by attending a focus group or completing some ‘scenario testing’.  If you are interested in this then please email luarts@lboro.ac.uk. Students will be rewarded for their time.
