Loughborough launches leadership apprenticeship programmes

Loughborough University’s School of Business and Economics has set up two apprenticeship leadership programmes for working professionals.

The Level 7 training – equivalent to a Masters degree – is aimed at organisations who already part of the UK Government’s Apprenticeship Levy scheme and begin this month (OCT).

The apprenticeships, an MSc in Strategic Leadership and Executive MBA, are aimed at equipping people who are already in management positions with the knowledge and skills to operate more effectively.

Loughborough’s SBE is the first school to launch degree apprenticeships at the university.

Loughborough holds a triple-accreditation for business schools globally, often referred to as the Triple Crown accreditation.

It is made up of:

• The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International)

• EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)

• The Association of MBAs (AMBA)

These prestigious international accreditations validate the quality of education offered, from teaching and research to student support and facilities.

In addition to being triple-accredited, the school is a signatory of PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) and holds a Small Business Charter award which recognizes the engagement and support work that we offer to SMEs, local economies and student entrepreneurship.
