Appy days

As the new academic year gets underway, the University has launched a brand new mobile app designed to help students keep up-to-date with news and information and the range of services available to them across campus.

myLboro is a comprehensive digital guide to the University, giving access to a wide range of information directly from a mobile phone or tablet.

The app includes key dates; a staff directory; Students’ Union info and PC availability. It also incorporates a wealth of content on topics ranging from the Library to health and wellbeing, as well as IT advice and study support.

Students will also be able to access the latest University news and events through the app. Those new to Loughborough will find the campus map and a guide to the town invaluable.

Current students can log into the app to access personal study timetable information. Logged in users can also get quick links to their email and LEARN, as well as receive alerts from the University.

Over the coming months, more content will be developed and additional functionality will be rolled out, including the ability to access personalised information, record attendance, and interact with more key services across campus.

To complement the myLboro app, Loughborough Sport will soon be launching their own mobile app, which will make it easier for students to get involved in sport on campus too.

A range of other users including members of staff, alumni and the local community are also set to benefit from the launch of myLboro and the Loughborough Sport app.

myLboro is available for both iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets. More information and download links are available on the myLboro webpage.

Student feedback and ideas for future developments are welcome. These can be given through the settings menu within the app.
