I am most proud of my first class degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough because it was the culmination of years of hard work and determination.

The celebration of women in engineering from all around the world and an opportunity to inspire the next generation.
Which women in Engineering inspire you?

Dr Jess Wade BEM. She was recently honoured by the Queen in the birthday honours for her work in diversity in part for the Women’s Engineering Society. She manages her successful academic career at Imperial College and her activism for gender balance, demonstrating the opportunity and flexibility in engineering.
What advice do you have for women considering a career in Engineering?

Just do it! Engineering is fascinating, fun and really rewarding.
What do you do outside of work?

I am a STEM ambassador, volunteering in schools to encourage students into engineering.

I play netball and I also like to keep fit with outdoor, military-style fitness classes and running.
