Connie Amode

Connie Amode (International Financial and Political Relations, 2014) successfully founded her own consultancy company, Magnet AMS. She joined the University’s Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) in 2022 and has volunteered her own time, acting in an advisory capacity and supporting the alumni community.

Prior to this, she worked for many years in the public sector, specialising in philanthropy and working with charities. Connie is passionate about addressing the UK’s digital skills gap and is looking at ways she can use her time on the AAB to support these initiatives, in particular, for the benefit of female and ethnic minority workers in the technology industry.
