If you wish to book a seat on one of the coaches, please complete and submit the form at least 1 week before your preferred pickup date. Please understand that late submissions will not be accepted.
Dates for 2026 entry will be published in the Spring of 2026.

This free coach service is solely for new international students who will be studying at Loughborough University. However, we may be able to accept additional passengers, such as relatives and friends, if there are seats available. The fee for additional passengers is £60 per person.
We allow you to bring two large checked in suitcases, one hand luggage and one laptop bag. You will be charged £35 per additional suitcase per person if you bring more than this allowance. Please note that students will be expected to handle their own luggage on and off the coaches.
Please note that if your flight is scheduled or delayed after 1pm, we cannot guarantee the pickup, please seek other options. If you need support with this, please e-mail our International Student Experience team. Students that are arriving after 3pm are advised to arrange overnight accommodation at the airport and take the next day’s coach or arrange their own way to Loughborough.

The journey from London Heathrow to Loughborough University is approximately 2.5 hours – 3 hours, depending on the traffic.
Where do you meet to be picked up?
The meeting point will be at Terminal 2 Arrivals, near to Café Nero and WHSmith. Loughborough University staff and/or students will be at the meeting point from around 1.00pm and will be clearly identifiable by signs and/or t-shirts with the Loughborough University logo.
If you arrive at other Heathrow Terminals or at London Gatwick Airport North Terminal there will be information desks there which you will be able to approach and obtain information about getting a transfer to Heathrow Terminal 2 if you wish to use this coach service.
Coaches will take students to campus-based halls of residence and all large town centre student accommodation. Students living in smaller off campus residences will be dropped off at the Loughborough Campus and required to make their own arrangements for travel to their accommodation. Staff can advise on available taxi services.
New students will take priority when transferring to transport for accommodation off campus.
We would recommend that you closely monitor the UK Government travel advice as changes may be made in the weeks leading up to your arrival.
