School of Architecture, Building, and Civil Engineering
The school of architecture, building, and civil engineering have EDI champions who are student’s reps involved in EDI projects. The purpose of this role is to promote a positive learning culture and environment that supports EDI values. Members have set responsibilities and are appointed for a period of 2-3 years. Opportunities in Loughborough Student's Union
Loughborough Students’ Union offers a range of opportunities to get involved with EDI related work. You could:
- Chair a society. There are lots of political, cultural, faith-based or fundraising societies which take part in EDI work.
- Join a Welfare and Diversity network. These groups focus on supporting and empowering underrepresented groups to ensure they have a voice both within LSU and the University.
- Volunteer as an Academic Representative to initiate positive change within their Departments.
- Run for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Officer at LSU President to represent the student body and have your say in how the University and SU and run.
