The inaugural PGCE placement award

On June 14th the university’s Student Placement Awards took place. For the first time there was an award for the PGCE (both Maths and PE). This award was designed to recognise a trainee who had gone above and beyond in his or her efforts during teaching practice. This wasn’t an award for the best teacher but instead looked beyond the teachers’ standards at the contribution that the trainee made.
