After completing a BEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2009, Mohsen went on to complete an MSc in Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 and a PhD in Sports Biomechanics at Loughborough University in 2018.
He is now a Senior Research Associate in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University, working with Professor Stacy Clemes.
Mohsen’s research focuses on public health, occupational health, and behavioural science, with an emphasis on improving health and wellbeing in high-risk and underserved populations.
He has expertise in accelerometry, using wearable devices to measure physical activity, as well as quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research approaches that integrate objective health data with lived experience.
