Dr Xiangjie Chen joined the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering in September 2019 as the Lecturer in Clean Energy and works at the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST). Prior to her current position, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, with a wide range of industrial connections within UK and Europe.

Dr Xiangjie Chen’s research interests are in the area of renewable and sustainable energy technologies, heat transfer process, particularly including which include the heating and cooling system design for building and electric vehicle applications, solar thermal energy storage system, building retrofit technology, polymeric plastic heat exchanger.
