Dr Wenheng Zhang is a University Teacher with the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University.

Dr Zhang received a PhD degree from Loughborough University in 2023, an M.Sc. in Communication and Signal Processing from Imperial College London, London, U.K. in 2018, and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ningbo China, Ningbo, China, in 2017. From 2021 to 2022, she was a research assistant with the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University, U.K.

Dr Zhang’s current research interests include the 5G and beyond mobile communications, such as:

  • The scheduling of ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC)
  • Machine learning for wireless communications
  • Resource allocation in wireless networks
  • Signal processing
  • Optimisation problems
