Wellbeing Adviser

Background

Vicky is a qualified Psychotherapist, Coach, Adult Teacher and Assessor. With over twenty-five years of working to develop people she now specialises in emotional and mental health, wellbeing, and behaviour management. She has worked in public and private sector, education, and charities. Prior to specialising in mental health Vicky worked in sport for over twenty years, with specialism in safeguarding, working for the NSPCC as a trainer and within the sports unit.

 

Overview of Role

As your Wellbeing Adviser, I am here to support you during your time at Loughborough University, working together to help you to achieve academic, social, and personal success. Students can access meaningful contact, in a timely manner, to receive appropriate support and signposting. As Wellbeing Adviser, I can also provide you with accessible resources and information, enabling you to take manage your wellbeing. I can offer advice and guidance within a safe space and about a range of wellbeing issues.
