Background

Haoge is currently a PhD research student at Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST), School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He is under the supervision of Prof Lin Zhengyu.

In 2016, he obtained a BSc degree in Automation from the University of Hunan University, China. After graduation, he studied for his MEng degree in Electronic Engineering Department for three years in Zhejiang University, China, where he did research about the ANPC three-level converter. This experience helped him to find interest in control of power converter in DC-microgrid and hence, led him to pursue further research at CREST after graduation in 2019.

Haoge’s research interests include control methods and stability analysis of power electronics converters applied in DC microgrids.
