Background

Hamza holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bahrain. Before his MSc, he worked as a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer working on rotating machinery. He is pursuing a PhD at Loughborough University, and his project focuses on electric powertrains' dynamic refinement and energy efficiency.

Title of thesis: Dynamic Refinement and Energy Efficiency of Electric Powertrains

Hamza's current research focuses on the dynamic refinement of Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrains. The project is in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover. A combined experimental-analytical approach will be deployed for the better understanding of the noise, vibration, and harshness in EV powertrains and the refinement of future system developments.
