PhD Thesis Title: Simulation of Material Extrusion Additive Manufacturing

Simulation of Material extrusion Additive Manufacturing, the project would Model the geometry and Investigate the mechanical properties of 3D printed polymer structures, therefore Specimens will be prepared and experimentally characterise. No models currently exist that can predict this critical variation, which impacts filament geometry, pore size and mechanical properties. Therefore, expensive time-consuming trial-and-error approaches to scaffold design are currently necessary.
