Background
Abdullah is methodical, result oriented Engineer with 3+ years of remarkable experience working in a multidisciplinary field. He has completed his MSc in Sustainable Energy & Environment from Cardiff University (2019-2020) with MSc research in Optimization of the Integrated Energy System of the University of Warwick. He developed models using energy hub concept, introduced renewable technologies in the existing energy system to make it cost efficient and provide clean energy. He is Diligent STEM postgraduate, with strong research aptitude.
He has worked on different case studies throughout his MSc course in Cardiff University. One of his main projects includes retrofitting of old Welsh dwelling using SAP sensitivity tool to lower the carbon emission up to 95% whilst keeping the cost minimum.
Abdullah has previously gained experience in IT sector for 1.5 years with Orion Global Managed Services as an IT Support Engineer from 2021- 2022. While working with Orion, he supported multidisciplinary projects. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering from Comsats University, Islamabad, Pakistan (2013-2017) with ‘A’ grade.

Abdullah’s research is in Decarbonisation of heating & cooling of buildings using integrated energy system models with renewables technologies and storage techniques. He is also working on Energy flexibility technique in the building aiming to reduce the energy cost alongside carbon emissions while fulfilling the energy demand.
