Congratulations to Sarah Clayton who has passed her PhD viva with very few corrections.

Congratulations to Sarah Clayton who has passed her PhD viva with very few corrections. Sarah’s thesis is entitled "The cognitive underpinnings of non-symbolic comparison task performance”. Sarah’s work explores the cognitive and methodological factors which affect performance on tasks aiming to measure the Approximate Number System. Sarah has presented her work at conferences across Europe and America, and has already published two papers from her PhD work.

Sarah now works as a Research Associate at the University of Leicester on the PRISM-2 project. She will continue to visit and collaborate with members of the MEC as part of her membership of the East Midlands Mathematical Cognition Group.
