2026 International Women's Day event for students
We were delighted to co-organise a dedicated International Women’s Day event for the student body alongside Hanaa Babrakar, Cindy Iwu, and Bryony Brierley.
This session brought together members of the ABCE community for a further panel discussion focused on career journeys, confidence, and the lived experiences of women in the built environment.
Our thanks go to the inspiring speakers- Kudirat Ayinla, Vanda Dimitriou, and Ana Blanco - who shared valuable insights and personal reflections. Key themes included recognising the challenges of balancing multiple responsibilities, addressing imposter syndrome, and embracing opportunities for growth. The discussion also underscored the importance of confidence, preparation, and strong support networks in enabling success.
Events such as these play a vital role in fostering open conversations around equity, empowerment, and opportunity. They also provide an important platform to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women across our community.
