On Wednesday 17^th October, the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering, (AACME), along with the Wolfson School, held their annual Placement Fair for current students.

The Fair was a huge success, with over 500 students from the School of AACME attending the event.  Some of the representatives were current students, currently on placement and also some students who have graduated from Loughborough University, so it was great to see them and check on how they are doing in industry!

Students were able to speak with representatives from more than 75 engineering companies including; Rolls Royce; Moog; MBDA Missile Systems; Caterpillar; Vocis; Lubrizol; Faurecia; Johnson & Johnson; 3M; Astrazeneca; Zotefoams; Haydale; and; Meggitt Polymers, who all delivered presentations to our students.

Our thanks go out to all of the companies who attended the event – it was incredibly useful for our students and, we are sure, will lead to a large number of our students applying for placements in these companies in the coming year.
