Each year three of the most musically talented students at Loughborough University are selected through an audition to receive the LU Arts' annual Music Scholarship Award. In 2016 the winners were George Newbould (cornet), Hannah Rayner (flute) and Sarah Jones (classical voice).
Music Tuition and Scholarship
Students who have shown their musical flair could be eligible for subsidised music tuition and music scholarships.
Students who prove themselves to be exceptionally talented and passionate about their chosen instrument, will receive £500 to spend on improving their skills even more and they will perform in the annual Music Scholarship Concert.
Any musical talent will be considered, and passion and commitment are weighted as heavily as musical ability.
The winners of 2016 Music Scholarship were Sarah Jones, Hannah Rayner and George Newbould.
