For most, results day will be a great day and one you’ll definitely want to celebrate. But, it doesn’t always go to plan – which is why it’s important to be prepared.
The best way to prepare for results day is to be aware of all of your options and prepare for every scenario.
Luckily, there are only three main scenarios – the first is that you receive the grades you wanted, the second is you do better than expected, and the third scenario is that you do not receive the grades you needed to secure your place at university. But now you know, you can prepare.
On results day, it is important to be prepared. When you collect your results, have your UCAS Personal ID to hand as well as the contact details for your firm choice University. UCAS Track should be updated in the morning and you will be able to see if you have been placed or not. If you haven’t been placed, you’ll need to know what your options are; which is where we can help.
Adjustment was introduced to reward the hard work and determination of students, and if on results day, you exceed all expectations and receive grades above those stated within your conditional offer you may wish to re-apply for a course or institute which previously you thought was too ambitious.
