Replying to your offer
If you are made an offer for a postgraduate taught programme you will be emailed with your offer letter and an offer booklet. You can accept the offer from Loughborough by returning to the Application Portal. Here you can view a summary of your application, including your offer conditions. You can accept the offer by clicking on ‘Reply to Offer’ on the left hand side. You do not have to wait until you have met all the conditions of your offer before replying to your offer.
If your offer is conditional on you achieving certain grades in your degree and/or an English language qualification, you will need to send us evidence that you have met these conditions. This must be an official document from your university, with a clear stamp or mark which certifies that it is genuine. Loughborough University takes fraud very seriously, and reserves the right to verify applicants’ qualifications where necessary.
If any of your documents are not in English, you should send us the original in your own language as well as a copy translated into English by an official translator. The translation must be certified to be a correct translation.
If your offer is unconditional you will need to reply the offer through the Application Portal. If you are an international student and need a student visa to study in the UK, please be sure to let us have your passport number if you have not already done so.
If you definitely decide that you do not wish to accept the offer from Loughborough University you should still reply to your offer via the Application Portal. This will help with our planning and allow us to offer your place to another student if appropriate.
When you reply to your offer, you will be asked to indicate whether you or your family are funding your studies, or you are being sponsored by a company or organisation. If you will be receiving sponsorship, you will also need to give us a name and address of your sponsor and send us an official letter from them to confirm the sponsorship.
Until we receive the official confirmation we will consider you to be self-funding.
If you applied through the online application portal, you can upload your documents by returning to your application in the Application Portal, and clicking on 'View/Upload Documents'. There is no need to email them separately. Please note that your supporting documents can be uploaded at any time during the year.
