Study Week Pilot

In response to student feedback, a study week will be introduced University-wide in 2026-27. Some Schools are running a pilot Study Week from Monday 10th to Friday 14th November.

What is it?

Study Week is a week when you will not have timetabled teaching. Instead, it allows you space to catch up, recuperate and prepare for the remainder of Semester 1. This year, 2025-26, the University is running a pilot Study Week open to some cohorts in Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, Loughborough Business School and Wolfson. The activities and resources will be open for all students to access and enjoy!

What can I do?

There are a range of opportunities both in person and online for you to develop your academic skills and participate in a range of activities. You can select from a wide range of academic skills sessions, and other fun activities. Added to this, lots of support will be available to you from a range of Professional Services colleagues in the form of drop-in sessions and access to 1-2-1 appointments.

If you are unable to attend the sessions but would like further support on developing your study skills, take a look at the resources on the Study Skills module.
