Connect to eduroam
Campus Network
eduroam (education roaming) is a worldwide community that allows any user (researchers, teachers, students, staff) from a participating site to get network access at any institution connected to eduroam.
IMPORTANT – Do not try to connect to eduroam like a regular Wi-Fi network by just selecting it and entering your username and password. That method will not work
To connect to eduroam, you must follow the setup instructions for your type of device. This will install a certificate that lets your device connect to eduroam automatically in the future.
Your device must have a supported, up-to-date, and licensed operating system to connect. Only devices that get regular security updates can use the network — this applies to both Wi-Fi and wired connections.
Supported devices:
- Microsoft Windows 11
- Android 13 and newer
- Apple MacOS 13 and newer
- Apple iOS 16 and newer
Please be aware that we currently do not support Chromebooks.
For users of the University Managed Windows Desktop Service - your device will automatically join eduroam.
First time connection: Mobile device
First time connection: Laptop & PC
Reconnecting your device
The certificate used to connect your device to the university's secure network (eduroam) expires annually.
When a certificate / profile has expired, it will need to be removed and a new one installed.
Instructions on how to remove old certificates / profiles can be found on the link below.
